Davis Poole began his first term as the At-Large District 5 Commissioner in January 2023. He was born in Brunswick, GA and has been active in the local community for over 15 years in the former capacity of President - McIntosh Rod & Gun Club. Since 2017, he has served as President of Friends of Kit Jones. Davis was a board member of the McIntosh Industrial Development Authority for 4 years, ending in December 2022. Davis is currently a member of the State of Georgia, Department of Natural Resources Marsh and Shore Protection Committee. After spending nearly 25 years with Home Depot in middle management, he is now President of Magic Chef Appliances based out of Chicago. He and his wife, Laurie, have two adult children and one grandchild. When free time is available, Davis is an avid fisherman, diver and enjoys volunteering in the community.
